I had reservations buying unseen from the net. It's cheap for a maple and I thought for that reason, it would result in a lower end quality kit.
Surprisingly there is good sound out of the light weight shells and for stock heads there is good tone and reponse. The tom sizes project good balance and the 20" cannon puts in that solid punch that also goes well under mic.
The add on's were also rather pleasing as the rack quality is better than I expected and the cymbals had full body sound, weight and plenty of brightness. Well above the standard you normally get in a package deal.
